Calm, calm flower. She'll be fine...
Aparently they are led to believe their GCSE results are ultra important to them and to their future life. It's up to us, as parents, to impress upon them that this is load of bollox.
.
it is a big thing these exam results.
the only thing which i think about is those who go on to university and come away from it with all the qualifications needed, no job and a lot of debt.
the only thing they do not come away with is experience in their field and employers will always look for that.
but i hope the results are what they hope for and that the situation in the job market changes so the young can show that they can make a go of it instead of being thrown on the scrap heap.
good luck.
Nope - my youngest is 23, but I can still remember the stressy bits with all 5 of them when they went to get their results!!
My Daughter got her 5th year exams results about 3 weeks ago. She is now doing 6th year.
