Not really a site suggestion as it's a more global issue than just here, but should we reconsider how sites such as this categorise people?
Whether for dating or just hooking up, on every site you are first asked to provide your gender - but is this really the simplest way to find the people we are interested in?
I am not suggesting we should be provided with a full selection of the 48 genders, or however many are taught in schools nowadays - we are far too tied up on giving labels to everything - but likewise is stating your gender the right way to find people in a purely sexual context?
Sex is a matter of physiology rather than gender - for instance, there are I'm sure many people on this site who identify as female who may be looking for someone just like me and are offering everything I am looking for, but because of the way we select who we search for we wouldn't find one another. I know there is a trans option, but again this is pretty ambiguous because of the many stages of the transition process.
Would it not be simpler when looking for sexual partners to just tick the cock/pussy boxes to state what you have and what you'd prefer your partners to have?
