Given Fergie's foot kissing by John Bryan in 1992 Harry's choice of outfits for a 2005 party or film of racist language in 2009, suppose it should come as no surprise that today we hear that Clarence House has confirmed the authenticity of photographs, published by US website , which show a naked Prince Harry cavorting with a woman during a party in a hotel room in Las Vegas.
The website claims that the pictures came after the prince and his entourage met some women in a hotel bar and invited them up to the royal's suite. The group played a stripping game and someone in the party is thought to have captured the image of the Prince on a camera.
Balmoral and the usual Royal 'family' holidays seem so far away.
Poor Harry, he can't do wrong for doing right, can he!
But he has good credentials after all, Queen Victoria was said to be a sexaholic.

I don`t care much for the Royal family but I think anybody that takes naked photos of people without permission and sells them to reporters and the people who print them should all be arrested.
Don`t care who the subject is.

Flower,
in this day and age with the technology available and Royal Protection Officers about as well, thought this sort of thing wouldn't happen

which makes him no different to the likes of us really..... but then i do believe we are the sort of community that have the right to judge such behaviour
i do like a royal who`s in touch with their public

exactly Rob and i really do not see what all the fuss is about, what with all the other dreadful stories out there at the moment.
Well I for one am proud of harry for being down to earth and knowing the difference betwixt formal state occasions, formal engagements, military duty and private fun and games between consenting adults.
In one photo he is stood covering his genitals with both hands, whilst the girl is stood close and in my opinion using him as a shield to protect her modesty. In the other photo they appear to be doing the exact opposite with her in front and him behind. I really don't see any evidence of 'cavorting'.
This community can hardly cast stones at some young people enjoying their free time in such a way can we???
He might get a taste for this exhibitionist stuff and before long there may be a new member on here !!

John
he is young he is single he is having fun ... let him get on with living his life
This is not in the same league as the nazi uniform episode. He's only doing what most of us do or have done. The fuss will quickly blow over. And I agree that he's been badly let down by whoever took the sneaky pics.
27 year old army officer (pilot at that trust me most of us are like that  ) gets drunk and parties after being at Top Gun training at Miramar.
Yes that really is a news story.
Only issue here is why the protection officers allowed camera phones in the room and after the pics were taken why did they allow poeple to keep their phones.
I see The Sun has published.
A few weeks without any readership should remind them that the Royals are currently in revival.
But will the British public go that far?
I think it's disgusting..............that Kate and Pippa didn't join in the game !!

Why would anyone in their right mind boycott that paper, or any other, if they publicise this story?
The story and pictures are already in the public domain anyway.

Typical English prurient response. It's old news anyway and already destined for sausage wrapping or stringing together for use as toilet paper.
Who gives a monkeys what he gets up to in private? For as long as people will buy this sort of rubbish, the gutter press will flourish and we all know where that ends up (has ended up). In very costly public enquiries to establish an otherwise unnecessary code of conduct. If only the British public would concentrate on more critical matters, there would be no market for all this crap.

Sorry, but I see nothing lustful or sexual whatsoever in my previous post.

Not me, as I have already said in this thread.

If people want to buy the paper let them, I don't see any need to boycott this paper or any other over what amounts to a no-news story. I'm sorry you don't agree, but that's life.

for old news you seem to want to continue to talk about it. one of my pet hates are the French, and the other pet hate are English people who have moved to France and then adopt the French way of thinking which is always an odd one, and then run down there country of birth. tut tut.

well obviously if this is a taxpayers trip, which it seems it was, then many taxpayers would ask who is funding this 5 grand a night hotel?

for me i care not that he has made himself look a right royal wally. what i do care about is the fact that firstly he is representing this country. secondly that his huge royal allowance of a few million pounds a year out of the public purse, is being used to fund £5000 a night hotel rooms. also that security people are also being paid huge sums of money to protect him, and i would have thought stopped him from making himself look a chump.
this guy is 3rd i think in line to become head of the british monarchy, and is a ranking officer in the Household cavalry in the Blues and Royals. i do not want british taxpayers money frittered away on pool side parties in Vegas. i wonder is that is also a " Typical English prurient response ". rolleyes
I stand by to be corrected if I am wrong, but as I understood it the Prince was on a period of R+R following duties in the vast Nevada dessert air combat training areas.
If this is the case, it is normal that the accommodation is offered at a vastly reduced rate courtesy of the US Department of Defense. The actual costs are borne by the Regiment involved, in this case the Army Air Corps (Not the Blues and Royals). Yes, this is still taxpayers money to a point, but Officers normally have a grant from their Mess funds to cover a portion of the costs. it is entirely possible that the £3000 a night room cost the taxpayer around £150 - £200 per night, and there would be at least two Officers in that room.

Envy is a terrible affliction star.
It gnaws away at you from the inside and turns you into a horrible bitter person unable to cope with the possibility that someone has something better.
What I like about the French way of thinking is they couldn't care a monkeys toss about how much bigger their neighbours car is or their house. They won't borrow money in order to 'big up' on material things and other peoples private lives are regarded as their own.
As for sex, they just get on with it rather than talk about it incessantly.
They are comfortable with their bodies and like to get their kit off at the earliest possible opportunity.
Shameless :rascal:

The guy has served in the front line, is a qualified Apache attach helicopter pilot and has riches beyond his wildest dreams... he is allowed to have down time and fun, the pics are from a long lens cam through a window and from what goes on in Vegas he was behaving royally...
The modern royal family are more accessible and are part of what makes Britain unique in the modern world....
Give him a break and just be glad he is closer to us normal people than Prince Andrew and Edward ... imagine those running the monarchy .... holy fuck
If you dont like ... hand your passport in and go somewhere you do ...
Now after three.. stand and sing ... God save our gracious la dee dah

I much prefer this version
Think you will find Prince Andrew was an ambulance driver (Sea King Pilot) in the Falklands
Prince Harry was a FOB operator in Afghanistan ... two very very different areas of danger I think you will find (but both way ahead of the dahling Prince Edwared- the failed Marine)

Somewhat disengenious methinks!
There have been many helicopter pilots killed in non-military operations over the North Sea servicing oil platforms which is by far less onerous than landing and taking off from an aircraft carrier on a heavy south atlantic swell - and in battle conditions to boot acting as decoy to incoming Exocet missiles.
This was front line stuff without a doubt.
And even if he was only engaged on medi-vac operations, it was in theatre with all the inherent risk that entails.
