So, beards?

I've had short goatees on and off for years, but for the last 3/4 months I've been experimenting with a full beard.
So my question for the ladies... Do beards do it for you? Do you prefer a man to be clean shaven, does it even matter?
And my question for the men... Has growing a beard (or shaving) ever made a difference to your sex life?
:love::love: BEARDS!:love::love: Anything but a lincoln or a chinstrap is A-OK by me! I am so pleased facial hair has become socially acceptable, fashionable even, not just with older men but also with young ones! I don't really have a preference whether a guy is clean-shaven or bearded (I know it doesn't suit everyone), but I always appreciate a good beard.
The reaction to mine from friends has been very much polarised - like Marmite they either love it or hate it. Everyone has an opinion!
I like it on me, I think it suits me and I especially like the fact that women seem to be smiling at me more when I'm out and about.
However, online seems to be a bit different - the attention I used to enjoy seems to be somewhat waning which has made online meets a little bit rarer. That might be because I'm an old perv though and nothing to do with the beard lol
Altogether a strange few months feeling like I've been completely reinvented.

Even TV's with beards are more acceptable these days... al la Eurovision Song Contest winner
No beards for me thanks, they make women look older and a touch more masculine though looking around the town centre of Walsall last week they do seem to be quite popular amongst the female population of the area.
Would I have one, never, and even less chance now I am getting old, too many grey hairs appear when I don't shave my it's so I shave all my bits smile
I quite like the whole "short back and sides with a beard" look that the young men seem to be sporting these days, throw in a few tattoos and I am all eyes

What about when not-so-young men sport them and have a few tattoos? cool

 AKA hipster beard!
It's quite disheartening when the men starting picking pubes out from them though, you find yourself looking to see if they are yours and you've missed one when waxing or if they're from a previous encounter.
Just saying like.

I've never fancied growing a beard .... but sometimes might not shave for 4 or 5 days, just cos I can't be arsed. So I just shower and go wherever I would've gone anyway, and, in answer to your question, it never ever has made any difference to my sex life.... so I'm guessing, (as it couldn't really be called a beard) that having a beard would make no difference whatsoever, as in there's probably someone'll be attracted to a beard as there will be someone attracted without. There's an awful lot of people out there looking for a guy to have sex with.
smooth as a babies, just how the better half likes it...!
Depends on the man but beards don't bother me, in fact they can look verrrrry sexy and hot! :rascal: although it's got to be a neat looking beard, trimmed and kept in check.
If a man's gonna do the beard thing though, , it's either all or nothing for me. Eg, not the in between look. The in between look isn't nice when kissing, it's all rough. Ouch. A little facial hair along the chin is hot too, it's great for when receiving oral. Mmmm.

I always travel light
I notice a large amount of profiles stipulate no facial hair for what that's worth. I've had a beard all my adult life apart from the 2 times I had half shaved off for a fortnight for charity. I covered up the hairy half and thought, 'Potato!' I do shave around it to keep the edges neat, and to tell where my chin finishes and my chest starts. If I let the area underneath grow stubble for a few days I find after the 3rd or 4th day the stubble becomes very soft and pleasant to touch.
I appreciate women have different aesthetic preferences but do you reckon it feels different - better or worse - for cunnilingus?

Hummmmm
Such clarity. Reminds me of the story about two schoolgirls where one talks to the other about finding a used condom recently on her aunt's verandah. The other girl says "what's a veranda?"
