...dance to or smile at. What are they?
A discussion earlier today has prompted me to ask the forum. If you're at a party or function or wedding etc, what songs make you get up & have a celebratory boogie?
For me, it's stuff I don't normally listen to... definitely the daft, cheesy stuff!
Take That 'Relight my Fire'
Kylie 'Spinning Around'
Stevie Wonder 'Sir Duke' (I'm not ashamed of this one!)
What gets the party started for you?
Bowie, Young Americans for me.

Come on Eileen certainly gets folk up.
There must be more... in fact, we could make this our Munch request list! lol
I should be so lucky - Kylie
lol
Dirty Dancing soundtrack - I've had the time of my life.
I don't ordinarily go in for rubbish musical type films, and I would ordinarily hang my head in shame admitting to a liking for it, but having been hoisted aloft with me arms out by Gemmie at a Wigan based social event to it, it does have a special place in my head. Makes me laugh just thinking about it. T'was the look of abject terror all over her face as I launched meself at her that does it! She stil managed the lift kind of though, bless her, and I didn't quite spectacularly fall off. Yay us! lol
N x x x ;)
p.s. Sir Duke? I should hope you're not ashamed. Songs in the key of life is a bona fide classic! smile
lol Rod Stewart's "Maggie May"
reminds skinny of his first love ..... was to become first wife
