It is very funny but sad at the same time.
The man could have been charged with wasting Police time, but until he rang 999 had not as the police officer said "committed a crime" a man can be charged with kerb crawling, but soliciting as far as I am aware is offering sex for money not attempting to procure it.
A prostitute can be charged with soliciting.
He could contact trading standards because the woman is not breaking the law taking money for sex, only the soliciting is an offence, one woman working alone without a maid or working with any other woman is legal in the UK.
I recall some years ago that Trading Standards saying they were investigating such a complaint but I don't know the outcome of the investigation.
They used to be allowed a maid present in the building but the maid could not recieve a salary and had to be rewarded by tips, this law was changed and maids are no longer permitted in the building, this was done to prevent Madams running girls.
A male in the building that is not a customer ie a pimp can be charged with living off imoral earnings.
Basically a single woman working from home and advertising on an overseas based website can legally prostitute herself in the UK, it would only be illegal if another woman was working with her or as her pimp/madam
Any male in the house who could be proven to be recieving any financial reward could be charged
At least 7 raids on massage parlours/houses being used by Romanian girls of up to 8 at a time have taken place in Stoke recently and the Sentinel has run number of features about the situation hence my knowledge lol.
I think I have the only honest profile on the site, unless anyone thinks I am not an old, ugly, average endowed geezer
