This is the kind of culture we have produced over many years, and one which hopefully Cameron will put a stop too.

These people are taking the piss out of every single hard working person, who went into work today. Are they alone out there? Somehow I think not.
" But Bateman, 46, whined: "People should mind their own business. We're not doing anyone any harm ". Is this guy for real? Also suprise suprise....he suffers from the " bad back bollocks ".
The system is a complete joke and these kinds of scroungers are laughing their socks off.
The law needs to change where one of them is forced and yes I mean forced to work, to pay for the lifestyle they created for themselves. Why should they be allowed to get away with having this ammount of kids, and then sit on their arses whilst the rest of us cough up for their scrounging.
I am livid when I read of stories like this, and their kids will grow up with no respect for nothing, and will expect the same kind of hot and cold benefits as the useless parents currently enjoy.
Taking the piss out of us? You bet your bottom dollar they are.....take away the benefits until one of the lazy buggers gets out and earns their money, like most of us do.
Come on Cameron....prove you are not full of shite like most politicians are.

Perhaps he been kicked in the bollox some many times that they've now settled up his back dunno
The problem often with shirkers with a back problem is that they can't get off it wink
Gnv..........
Does this kind of thing ever happen in France, that you know of?
Do they have the same kind of benefit system over there?
I presume they do not?
What happens to people in France that have this ammount of kids, and the parents have no job?
Don't hold your breath for ANY Politician of any Party to do anything about it, except maybe huff and puff............Human Rights innit ???

No .....it's the benefits system......haven't we done all this before .....I know what you think ...you know what I think ......yada yada vented bile from misanthropes.....as the man said it's not my business...or yours
As a taxpayer I think it most certainly is my business.
Yes of course this has been done before, but where are the rules to say it cannot be done again and again and again......??
I will continue to post stories like this until the site owners tell me different, certainly not by another member.... ok?

personally, I have no experience of it. They have good social benefits systems here but basically you cannot get anything out of it until you have paid into it.

As a fellow taxpayer is it my business how much tax you pay?? or if it's the correct amount ??....would it be correct to vilify you in the press if you were found to have underpaid??...it is between him and the relevant authorities..no one else and certainly not for the papers to point and sneer at....if they or you have a problem with the benefits system, then address the system and it's failings do not victimise those who legally use it
The problem with stories like this one is that they anger people and make them think that all genuine benefit claimants are scroungers.
But this guy is now probably one of the most genuine cases ever. There's no way he will ever walk into a job that pays the kind of money he needs to support his family. The fact that his family grew to the size that it is was perhaps because of the benefit support. They may well have thought twice about having more and more children if every time his wage had to stretch that bit further.
A system that encourages the benefit trap at this level is seriously flawed. He's just exploited it to it's maximum. Staggs is right. It's not him thats at fault. Its the system that allows it.

Here we go again: A load of presumptions and assumptions from you Kenty. You are so gullible - swallowing the Sun's propaganda hook, line and sinker.
Why can't you see how your judgement is being coloured by stories such as this?
The way in which the Sun has chosen to write this story to give credibility to its campaign.
It's all designed to paint anyone who earns benefits as a good for nothing layabout, so that when the cuts come, the public will just roll over and accept them.
But you won't care about that will you Kenty? Because your view is the simple and selfish: "I'm alright Jack".
You think you have the God given right to comment on how other people live their lives, simply because you are a taxpayer.
You don't know that their kids will have no respect.
How dare you demonise them based upon your own bigoted prejudices.
What a guy you are!
Absolutely shameful.
Let's look at the amount that they are apparently "raking in" - £30k a year. To bring up 12 kids! That's £50 per kid, per week. Could you manage on that? Because I know I couldn't.

The exact wording is: The £1,200-a-month rent on their imposing detached home comes out of more than £30,000 a year they claim from the State.

That's a bit below the belt Davey. lol
Maybe this year eh?
We have won everything else and only a matter of time.

No sorry Jewel that one will be the week after, as that is when this years GCSE's come out. wink
99% pass rate I reckon this year, and 33% cannot read and write proper like...........work that one out. lol
So 'A' levels are tougher than ever then?
GCSE results aren't worked out how you'd think they should be.
say an exam is worth 40 marks and a few get 39, an A is 35 - 39, B 30 - 34 and so on. BUT if no-one gets 35 or above, an A is 34 down to say 30, a B is 25-29 and so on.
So really if everyone is dumbing down at the same time the results will still show lots of good grades!
Im hoping that everyone who sat the same GCSE that i took this year was thick so I get a good grade too!

agreed as long as saving on taxes by legal means is accepted (including loop holes )
and the business man who has worked and built up a successfully business is allowed to use the opposite side of the spectrum
if not the i propose we all go on the dole wink
Everyone should pay the taxes they owe ....I don't do the calculations ,and wouldn't know where to start.....not sure I'm in favour of exploiting loopholes though...but if it's within the law I can only take a moral position
No different to these shocking figures either...

Incapacity benefit has gone through the roof in recent years....it is so easy to blame your back and then not work for years.
I know of some people who have this syndrome too. It is usually called " lazy bugger syndrome ". No known cure at all and is usually brought on by a bout of something called work.
