Prompted by bluexxx's thread about which comedy character you are, I was pondering busting out one of the dvds from my boxset of The Big Bang Theory.
I own four tv box sets: The Wire, The Big Bang Theory, Sex & the City and Tremé.
Looking at them on the shelf, I was wondering could you 'tell' anything about me from those choices? lol
I have a few.
From memory, I have all the Xena Warrior Princess Episodes, but they are videos, so I can't watch them now  and also I have some Angel boxset videos too. (Angel being the spin off series to Buffy the Vampire Slayer - which I didn't buy as I thought it was childish, though Spike was pretty cool :silly: )
I also have the Queer as Folk boxset on both video and DVD (had to buy that again!)
And then I have Dallas. Oh yes... you heard me... DALLAS!!!!
Various series of Doctor Who (no Matt Smith, he's banned). Torchwood too.
Big Bang Theory series 1-5
And then various comedies. I'd have to go and check which
Not sure what this says about me. Probably that I don't buy all I like because I just wait for repeats on Sky
Queer as Folk. I loved QAF. Took me a while to get my head round Stuart being Tommy Carcetti in The Wire. lol
I like your eclectic selection!
I'm not very sure what my boxsets say about me other than I watch too much TV? :giggle:
Dexter
Grey's Anatomy
The Big C
Sex And The City
The Wire
Cold Feet (on video!!) I no longer own a video recorder so I have no idea why I keep this shit!
Am sure there are more but off the top of my head I can't remember. redface

I have one box set brought for me a few years ago, and it is DALLAS.
You know ol JR and the oil barons. There has been a revival of Dallas with a new cast and a few old has beens as well, which works well. I loved Dallas and it ain't the same with that old rascal JR after his sad death recently.

I'll agree with you there. The two new series worked well with a mixture of old and new characters.

I had serious doubts about the new Dallas and it was really weird watching it on a big telly with HD. But once I got over the initial shock of seeing the old characters and how old they all now looked ( which means I also look a lot older ),I loved it. I cannot wait for the new series next year to come. Still not the same without old JR though.

Yes, me too. I was very sceptical that it would work, but from the off, I loved it. Some really good twists in the tale too.
Ol' JR will be sadly missed, he was an absolute star, but I think if they continue to play the scripts right his legacy will always be there, but the story will move along nicely.
