I have always had a feeling I want to visit Norway it just seems a place of peace, beauty and tranquility.
First I would like to travel along through the fjords, then drive the atlantic road then to see the northern lights.
There are many place I would like to visit but this is my 1st choice.
Where in the world would you like to visit and why?
If the political situation calms down I'd love to visit Egypt, see the pyramids, cruise on the Nile, see the temple at Luxor etc. I've always been fascinated by Egyptology.
The Exuma Cays in the Bahamas. I wanna see the swimming pigs lol.
we are toying with the idea of traveling the pacific and Indonesia Micronesia and Polynesia
but none of it would be complete without going to Easter island or Kiritimatiaka aka Christmas island two places id love to visit just for the heritage
Where ? Cheryl Cole's fanny, from close up !!
Why ? I like smelling the roses.
John
Far too many things i'd like to see or do in this world and it would depend on my mood on any particular day to where that would be.
I guess today I would rather like to travel the carribean islands on a really classy yacht with all the creature comforts within an arms reach of a deck chair.
Fiji or even further to French Polynesia, for the sun, beach and palm trees and hopefully for my next big birthday (if MrsG will stop spending all our money).
Vietnam, especially the tiny island area that top gear went to a few series ago.
well....just priced up...and think next year I will be off to South Africa.....as want to go cage diving with Great White Sharks......
Or you could join the air force, fly off to distant countries, look down on smiling waving people and then drop bombs on them.
Then again there is always the Navy
you get to sail to foreign lands, meet lots of lovely ladies and then visit the doctor to explain your willy rot.
My answer has to be "anywhere I haven't been yet". There are far too many to list. Everywhere I've been so far has been worthwhile in its own way, so I'm sure I could stick a pin at random into an atlas and get something out of whatever destination it chooses.
Antarctica is the only continent I haven't been to yet, so that's definitely one.
I loved Norway, Minx. Get on a boat down the fjords and be prepared to stand there staring with your mouth wide open.
Easter Island is tiny and not terribly easy to get to, but well worth the effort. Hire a car (you'd only need it for a day) and wander at your own pace. And give yourself a bit of time in Santiago on the way back.
I'd want to get a lot fitter than I am before tackling Machu Picchu. It looks a bit
vertical.
