Hi all, has anyone been to Hedo and if you have who did you book through ?
or hedo II :-)
Yep, in Negril. It's expensive and boring.
cracking review, not lol
yes to hedo 2,
we`ve been a few times and it isn`t expensive and boring, especially considering it is super all inclusive and in the caribbean, you can easily do a week here including flights for circa a grand each and considering you don`t really need spending money after that we consider it a value for money holiday ( in our opinion anyway as we spend a similar amount on a self catering gran canaria holiday where we also go regular )
over 80% of guests return for another holiday which is the highest percentage of any caribbean resort so that should speak for itself,we know of people that have visited over 20 & 30 times, one guy hit the 100 visit milestone a few years ago and got a plaque put on a wall within the resort lol
flights we book seperately from the hotel booking, we fly from manchester to montego bay for circa £400 each return with mytravel / thomas cook
to book a room at hedo we book with either dennyp travel ( google him,a lovely fella from texas who we have met at hedo twice now and enjoyed a drink / chat with several times ) or lifestyles tours & travel ( not sure if they are still in business though although we have used them in the past with no problems )
best to check dennyp`s visitor schedule, put in the dates you wish to travel and find out if a group has booked in for that week and then book a room with either that group as they will have negotiated a group discount with superclubs ( owners of hedo ) or book with dennyp, whatever way you book the cheapest way is through a u.s travel agent
on average a room is in the region of £1100 a week ( not per person and depends on dollar exchange rate and also whether nude or prude side and garden or ocean view ) but this is super all inclusive and everything food & drink wise etc is included you will not need money while in the resort and tipping staff is forbidden ( sackable offence if they are caught accepting tips )
don`t book with superclubs ( unless they are doing a great deal, they also have a london booking office ),peng travel,a uk travel agent etc etc as they are all expensive ways of booking it and yes we have checked with them all, some quote crazy prices
superclubs will transfer you free of charge by mini bus from montego bay to the hedo resort of your choice i.e 2 or 3 it takes approx 1 hr 30 mins and sometimes involves a quick beer / toilet break half way
,it doesn`t matter who you have booked with this service is still free and the return also
if travelling to hedo 2 you can also hire a private plane to take you to negril airfield for about £40 each this is a service we have used in the past and the company is very good, they are called timair and the flight takes about 10 mins
the staff at hedo are second to none and are so friendly and try very very hard to please
hope this helps any questions drop us a mail
we will be going back many times

we've been to Hedo2 9 times and Hedo3 once the only other info I can add to hedocpl is a uk site which can be worth looking at for a quote is that way u dont have to mess with booking flights n accomadation seperate- but dennyp site well worth looking at
s & t
Hi
I would agree with Hedocpl 100%
We have been to both resorts quite a few times both are good but we find Hedo II suits our needs better
Hedo III in our opinion tends to be a bit more for groups where II is more cpls 30 to 60 yrs of age
We booked through Expedia not the cheapest but no hassle all done in one hit
If I was to pick a down side for me the food was not to my liking (very American) but thats just me I like good briitsh food (Indian & Chinese) LOL
Hope this helps

thankyou all, this is very helpful, must say it looks and sounds fantastic, and not badly priced either
Hedo 3 is closing - apparently "not enough clientèle in this niche market" for Superclubs to have two resorts!
It will reopen in October as a "SuperFun resort" accepting over 18s only.
