The Mrs and I (cpls p/f Notts24fun) are thinking about going to the Cap d'agde next summer, been to PDI a number of times and fancy a change. Anyone got any advice for us?
Especially looking to find an apartment near to the action which won't break the bank.

Nothing about Cap d'Agde is cheap and so anything is likely to break the bank to be honest. Our suggestion would be to just accept that it is going to be expensive and make the extra effort to save up and make the most of it. It is expensive, the service is generally poor but it is the sexiest place on the planet in July and August and there is nowhere in the world even close to it for sexiness.
We went last week-end just cos we had a few days available and stayed at the Oz'Inn hotel. for a cup of coffee is not just expensive it is outrageous but .... Ah, what the hell..... Just don't try doing a pub crawl in cap d'agde unless you want to wake the next morning in tears. Try the pool parties at Eden and Babylones even if you don't stay there and of course the naked foam party at Glamour is something else.
If you can afford to stay at Jardines Babylones or Jardines d'Eden - go for it. You can book through AGN and both places are full on as hot and sexy as you want to make it. Even if you can't afford Eden or Babylones AGN have a selection of other properties all over cap d agde but be sure you know what you are going to get cos some of the accommodation is old, small and cramped.
The best budget accommodation is on the campsite google Rene oltra (or similar).
