Peng Travel have a good selection of places at Cap d'Agde, and a choice of air travel or road travel.
Ryanair fly to Beziers from Bristol and Luton and it is a reasonable taxi journey to the naturist village. Beziers is the next town to Agde.
Ryanair also fly from various airports to Carcassone, Perpignan, Montpelier and Nimes. At all of these airports there is a convenient shuttle which is laid on when flights arrive to take you to the local railway station. The French trains are regular, easy to organise on line and will take you to Agde station where you can get a taxi into the naturist village. Whether you speak French or not, this is very, very easy to do.
Other airlines fly to Perpignan and Montpelier and the same rail routine applies when you get there. We normally google the local train timetable as soon as we have booked our flights and we have never been inconvenienced with train times and connections - piece of cake.
Agde railway station is on the mainline and high speed trains service the station from Paris meaning that you can get to cap d'agde from your local station via Eurostar.
Whilst we have not yet dome it, Cap d'Agde is also driveable (or rideable!)
In respect of accomodation we used to book with Ann & David James Travel ( ) and found them to be helpful and affordable and have a good selection of traditional accomodation available. Now, there are fantastic newly built, high end, couples only resorts in cap d'agde and they are directly managed by AGN -
Alternatively you can book directly at the massive and very well serviced camp site -
We are thinking of going in May, anyone been that can recommend hotel ect ?
There is only one Hotel - Hotel Eve.
The two couples resorts Jardines d'Babylon and Jardin d'Eden will probably be open.
I have booked through in the past and you could also check out although most of the sites prefer a Saturday to Saturday booking so Ann and David James travel may be the best option as I understand they are a little more flexible with their arrival and departure dates. There is also a Cap D'agde forum on the groups which can be a useful source of info and a good place to get to know other people that may be there at the same time etc. Please contact me if you would like to know anything else otherwise have a great time wink
