Hi, Egypt is a Islamic country and by law nudism is banned - a punishable crime etc. That has been in place for quite some time now and as you probably read most days is veering towards even stricter Islamic practices.
Having said that they are a country that relies on tourism and most hotels are tolerant of topless sunbathing, but that is as far as it goes.
As far as I can remember over the years of visiting, a swingers club of sorts did open up in 2008 but the owners were promptly arrested along with the 44 couples who were members, I'm guessing its closed now
As with most situations on holiday - its usually best to make your own fun and see who else is inclined too!!
