As we love the Nudist beaches at “Costa Calma” we are going to Fuerteventura again wink

, this will be the 5th time we have been and after the disappointment of going to a resort near to the airport last year we are using the same Hotel that we have used twice before.
I personally believe the beaches are the most beautiful of all the Canary Islands and by far the best for walking endless miles of Golden sand.
If anyone is thinking of going to the same a word of advice “Hire a Car” as some of the Resorts are quite a distance to walk to the beach.

Hi,
Like you love Fuerteventura, although we are off to GC this summer just for a change. Much prefer the north of the Island , but matter of personal taste.
If you get the chance try and find Playa Los Agucjas Spelling?. AKA Steps its beach, its about 2km south of El Cotillio, only accessible by car, but my favourite beach on the island

I would suggest hire a car for 3 days or less only, that means you don't have to return it empty as its full empty policy we found out the hard way, extremely hard to empty a tank in a week lol. Ask with 3 days its usual just top it up to full again

Yes Easyenorthwest is correct most car hire do try this on, as they charge for a full tank when you collect the car, except “Orlando Car Rental” their policy is to take the car back with the same amount of fule as was in the tank when you took it.
And yes they do check it on return.

I'm in Fuerteventura right now, enjoying naked days on the loveliest beaches imaginable, in the Sotavento area. I always hire with PlusCar, they are much cheaper, they just ask you to return the car with roughly the same amount of fuel, they're always waiting for you in the car park as arranged (no queuing), and they're polite and helpful.

Forgot to add the really important bit - PlusCar don't charge any insurance excess, or try to get you to buy extra insurance. The rental price is all you pay, and you can pay in cash too if you're concerned about rental companies having your card details!

Well here we go,
Bags packed, paperwork done, and all set for the early Flight on Saturday Morning if you read this dolphin29 yes it is a shame, would you believe we always book Sunday to Sunday but this time for whatever reason we ended up on a Saturday to Saturday holiday.
Sun Sun Sun, here we come
