hell all. i will be off with my wife to Fuerteventura in 4 weeks and cant wait we have never been before but we are looking forward to some dogging on the beach does this happen on alot of beaches on Fuerteventura or should we aim for any in particular the resort we will be at is called Caleta de Fuste. thanks for any help you may offer.
I am going to be out there in July if you want to meet up for some MMF fun
Been a few years since I have been there but Calleta de Fuste has a man made beach as the Island is basically a series of long extinct volcanoes which have been covered by sand blowing across from the Sahara. It is a family resort and the beach area was lit up at nights ten years ago at a time when they were still building a golf course up the hill, so what it is like now... almost certainly not suitable for dogging.
However the resort is fairly central and whilst there are buses if you can do it it is probably better if you can hire a car to explore the naturist beaches to the north heading up to Corrajeco or southwards heading up to Jandia which tends to be more popular with Germans (because it was used for training during the war). Having explored both ends of the Island I would say that there are probably areas where dogging might conceivably take place as there are numerous man made stone semi circular walls which have been built over the years by naturists either seeking privacy or more likely shelter from the wind. When it gets up the sand can sting a bit and in sandstorm nothing can protect you when it lifts up the courser sand of the dunes!
As you are planning activities beyond naturism I would stay away from the water's edge as many do like to wander up and down (usually men ogling)blink and find somewhere away from the sea and also away the large Riu Hotel that is on the beach heading towards Corrajeco. Remember that many naturists do not condone sexual activities on naturist beaches so discretion is the keyword. The beaches are however huge (they are after all sand dunes) so no doubt it does happen.
