Does anyone have any tips for cheap accommodation in mid august?
I've booked flights for mid august but accommodation is so expensive since two friends I was going with pulled out at last minute
only going for 5 days but looking well pricey at the moment being on my own.
are there any proper hostels out there or websites to post to share with people?

if your landing late at night get a place before you go or you will be sleeping rough.
late nights tend to arrive at 2am ish its a mad house there this time of year, do yourselve a favour book into an ibiza town hotel even if for one night and then take it from there. being on the ground is what its all about over there unless you buy a package.

i can recommend the Vista al mar in the resort of es cana, Ibiza
1* rooms but very clean and comfortable. with single supp B&B is only 30 euros a night. No lift or pool, but free use of the hotel round the corner's pool and facilities and theres a beach club right opposite. great location and superbly friendly staff. I had this place recommended to me and how right they were. As a single female i needed somewhere i could feel safe to wander about, and this resort came up trumps. made some wonderful friends and cant' await to go back.

p.s. top tip for transfers is A2B transfers....imacculately clean air con coaches and prompt pick up....got mine for £20 return....bargain!
