We are heading out there for two weeks. Staying at the Lopesan Baobab resort. Hope to meet some new friends.

Hi there, i am going out there on Tues for 4 weeks, I know you are not looking for a single male but if you fancy meeting up just for a social drink more than happy to do so
I think u will be back before we go on 29th May. Let us know if there is any change of policing in the dunes.

I’m off to Maspalomas in November, can anyone recommend a good area in the dunes for some horny fun? Thanks
Dunes are nothing like they were pre covid, went down there one day (March 23) and only saw one man in the dunes (roped off section) normally there would be 100's of people. If you just wanted to go to the nudist beach then you have no shelter if the wind gets up and starts blasting sand at you. If you go back into the dunes to shelter behind some vegetation you risk a 500 Euro fine! The difference in the amount of vegetation is negligible as due to the lack of people roaming around the sand is much deeper and has covered it. The sand has almost covered the wooden posts they have put in in places. Completely pointless exercise in my opinion, it is either a money making scam by the council in dishing out ridiculous fines or they just wanted to stop the 'activities' there.
If you look on Google Earth you can see the allocated paths through the dunes - there are only a few. Anywhere outside these paths and you now risk the fine if you get caught (and the risk seems to be quite high). That said, the patrols appear to finish around mid afternoon - I've had a good wander around at 3pm and saw no patrols.
I think one reason for patrolling the dunes is the amount of mess that was left behind after the 'activities'.
