Thinking of Playa Del Ingles early February, anyone fancy joining us

Friends report that the dunes, the area that I love to frequent and have sex in the sun, is now fenced off and officiously policed using the excuse of it being a 'nature reserve'.
How short sighted! It could kill the income from the 'nude euro' .
Yes, I think they've made a big mistake there. The big draw on the nude beach was the opportunity to wander in the dunes.

I don't think the situation has been helped by the mess left behind by many of the people who used the dunes. Most of the 'dens' were left in a pretty disgusting state with used tissues, empty condom wrappers, etc. strewn around the place so, in a way, I can't blame the authorities for wanting clamp down. It could be a case of the minority ruining things for the majority.
Will happily check things out when I'm there in a couple of weeks!

Not exactly fenced off but patrolled, was there in October and spent four or five days in the dunes without any bother and then got collared while heading down for straying off the path a few feet! Tried the beach but it was far too windy to stay there and thought it was going to spoil the rest of our holiday but discovered after chatting with a local guy that the beach police finish at 2 so avoided it until then. Will be back in June so hoping that they aren't there for longer then.

I had a good wander around the dunes when I was there a couple of weeks ago. It was at about 3:30pm and there were no police to be seen (I was there for about 30 mins) so your comment about them finishing at 2pm would appear to be correct. There were loads of people wandering around (including in the "reserve" areas), and some action taking place, as if nothing had changed so I would suggest that it's OK to proceed with caution!

Thanks for the info Gustavv, as a regular visitor to the Dunes (pre Covid19) I was concerned that the area would be ruined by over zealous patrols

Thinking of going mid April! Probably stay at The Gold Hotel in PDI x
We are potentially going our late march, early April, does the gold hotel have a nude sun bathing area ? We were there in November and it was incredible and enjoyed the dunes so this time want to find a hotel that may cater for adult fun lol
