If when looking for a hotel, go for one in 'Prague 1'. This will keep you close in to the city centre. Maybe a little more expensive but once there, no more taxis. Everthing should be within walking distance. The clubs are only detectable after dark and are on side streets off of wensleslas suare. Enjoy the city, it's great.
