Hi folks.

Ok in case you missed my last post on the original thread, it was getting a little hard to keep up with, so I have started this as a confirmation / information thread.
Contact Details
You should all have had the PM with dates venue etc by now. if not please PM me or Velvet for details.
I intend to send my MSM and contact phone number to those who have confirmed shortly in case any of you need extra info etc.
The theme and fancy dress
The theme is still “ Druids, Witches Warlocks and Pagans “ , a few people have asked me how many peeps will actually be making the effort to dress up :shock: good question, dunno

could you give some kind of indication as to your intentions re: the fancy dress thing? It’s not compulsory, but would be fun if at least a few got into the theme ………………….. :shock: ME? Oh ok, well if I can get some kind of cozzy knocked up in time I’m game, anyone else?
The BBQ, supplies etc.
To avoid duplication and in the name of fair distribution, the plan is that everyone chips in an agreed amount and that Sassy and her crew invade the local town for BBQ supplies, (shopping list to be agreed later) as for drinks I think its best if everyone brings their own. Ideas and suggestions / requests for special foods to Sassy please. Volunteers are still needed, because of the communal cooking arrangements, could we have a few of you, especially the bbq connoisseurs, to volunteer to do the cooking shifts, I’ll certainly be a part of that team, but will need a few others to lend a hand.
Identification
Someone else mentioned that with the potential numbers attending, it might be an idea for all of us to have some kind of name badge, at least initially, personally I think that’s a good idea, I’ll be digging out a dog eared typewriter label for mine lol

Access / Parking
Because of the parking restrictions (20 cars max) I am in the process of finding extra parking as close to the venue as possible. Spaces will be allocated to volunteers first then on a first come first served basis. We will need a couple of volunteers to run a shuttle service to and from wherever I can find a suitable car park. Anyone who is coming by coach or train, please PM me the details and I’ll see to it that someone is there to pick you up.
Entertainment
Any musicians among us with instruments please feel free to bring them along, would be great if we could get a good old sing song going around the camp fire. Alternatively, feel free to bring your blasters and CDs, just don’t forger the batteries :rascal:

I've got loads of great dance cds I'll bring along if someone's got a player.
Please don't mention guitars to Dai or I'll be having to squeeze his amplifier in the boot and we'll have Nirvana blasting across the field all weekend rolleyes

actually... I'd like to volunteer for something or other... though I won't be able to bring much stuff down with me >public transport and all that< also, as a consequence, can niether ferry, nor pick-up, nor run around. So at present.. feel pretty damned useless... I shall attempt to make myself usefull though...promise.
as for dressing up... well... I may make a stab at something or other..at some point...maybe

OK here's my dilema. 'Escape into the Park'(day festival in Swansea) is on the Saturday, so do I come down for the Friday night and then head back Saturday morning or not? Is everyone planning to be there for both nights?

What about a gazibo to put over the BBQ if it rains, anyone got one?
Will be looking for volunteers to keep me warm in my tent if i get wet, fook who needs to get wet anyway.

hiya pete well im back in one piece if a little sizzled round the edges lol

well i can only make the fri night at the mo will see em at work on mon about the sat night again so if ya need a hand in the kitchen or wood cutting or general labour then im your man could even try the new recipe i got from hol out :lol:
not sure about transport as im a single with a car i dont mind parking a little way away or i shall be coming from the southhampton area if anybody wants a lift give me a shout smile
