Warming the Bed
Can understand why you would not want new unknown members to attend oweing to past bad experiences..but its very difficult for someone like me..single guy wanting to break into this scene....dont tar everybody with the same brush...there are lots of decent genuine single guys here too and just want to get into the scene...and from what i have seen on here,its a good close comunity but you guys are not very wellcoming to new memebers...well especially single guys.....but i will perservere and trod along.....just an observation ..................

You wish to breaking to the scene, that is good, but Rio's is not a swinging club, and does have its own membership which (subject to their guildlines) you could join direct.
I have never tared anyone with the same brush...........
I have arranged several social type events on this site, and I have always where space allows, let at least 5 to 10 new people attend any events, males, females, bi etc etc and there are serveral 'newer' type people who would agree with this, so bollox..........

Sarah has organised a number of SH events and to behonest they have all gone down a storm. Sarah is well within her rights to limit the amount of newbies. She has never said newbies would not be allowed just they would be restricted.
I can see the bigger picture....for example...a number of single fems and cpls DO NOT want to be hasseled by newbies just after a quick shag or a long shag for that matter.
This is a social event and most of us know each other allready and its an opertunity to meet up with old friends. If you get yourself known on the forums then next time sarah might let you come.
I have seen situations when newbies have caused issue's so I agree totally with sarah's POV.

I haven't a clue about what you are whinging about. You say you're a single guy, yet your profile says you're a Bi female and you post as a couple!! Get a grip, man and stop whimpering. Stop blaming everyone else but yourself. It's no wonder everyone excludes you - you're not helping matters, are you?

I have to comment on this, in case anyone else is thinking its the same thing.
The past couple of Rios meets, new unknown members have been invited - each time there was trouble, in one case, enough trouble for this person to have to be ejected from the place!!! Not a good thing to have people like that around when you're not only nervous but naked too :?
Other instances that have happened are the people that cannot distinguish between a Social meet and a Swinging Meet - once again, a very uncomfortable atmosphere when someone starts acting like that in what's meant to be a social environment :?
You're right that it is unfair that it looks like all unknown members are tarred with the same brush - I know, we all know that it's the absolute minority, and I'm sorry they've spoiled it for all the genuine lovely people out there. But as it is also a bunch of regulars that also go all the time, the club would then eventually associate all of us with this type of behaviour. Sarah had to do a lot of calming down with the staff after the last guy kicked off. None of us need that hassle.
I remember one Rios meet, way back yonder - 4 pages of people saying they would turn up. In the end there was 4 of us, 3 women and one guy!!
Like I said, it is a shame that unknown newer people can't get on the list, I love meeting new people, we all do! I met my partner, who's not a big forum person, at a Rios meet. But these days it's just not worth the hassle
It was tried and tested, it didn't work :( Advice, I would stick around the forums, get yourself to other socials, meets or whatever, once people start to get to know you, then join right on in

Missy speak much sense. I started out by patiently posting on the forums, got invited to a social comprising about a dozen of us in a pub, and am now one of the Rio's regulars.
Afraid it is still looking unlikely I can make it but I haven't lost sight of it yet.
