The idea of a munch at a Superbike race meet has come up, and seems to have sparked some interest, so I thought I'd better stop my hijacking (sorry) and put the feelers out properly in a new thread.
The basic idea is a mass picnic while watching people fall off bikes. It could be a one day thing (races are mostly on Sunday, a few are bank holiday mondays), or an entire weekend.
For now, I just want to gauge the level of interest and see which venue would suit the most people.

You don't have to be a petrol head, it's a great day out whether you know anything about bikes or not, and all the circuits have loads of hotels nearby.
If you're interested, state your preferred venue, and if enough people are up for it, I'll put my organiser hat on.

PS - I think the unannounced venues are most likely to be Mondello Park, near Dublin, and Croft, North Yorks
