it is all well and good for locals to try and do this on a weeks notice but a lot of people need to organise sitters ect.......
how about giving people a bit more time....
look at the sh calander... not much going on in august.... just a thought...

I realise next weeks a bit quick but looking at my other calanders the next good weekends for us would be the 12/13th aug or or 26 aug as we have other things going on in aug so hows about it are they better dates for hold ect, then its only where to meet and what time heheheheheh

I have just joine the forum..although I have been redaing and posting on SwingingHeaven for some time.
If the date is convenient..I would love to come. If it's mid week I work in Durham so not a problem. Weekends..it depends which one. 16th is defintely a no..although 23rd would be alright.

hi all, sorry about my lack of time on here and trying to sort this out! Life just seems to get in the way at times lol.
August could well be a very good time for this social night and it does give most people plenty of time to arrange sitters etc.
I'll try to get online more often and we'll see what can be sorted (think I may have soem help too lol)
Look forward to meeting you all at some point soonish

Ok then,
Just had a convo with Lil_Bunny and I've offered to give her a hand sorting this Social out (what was I thinking?) and as I am on-line a tad more than Bunny at the moment hopefully we can get something sorted!!
Ok then dates.:
As Fabio mentioned it may be better to give a bit more notice for sitters etc, So to this end I suggest the 13th Aug. The date sits well with the SH calendar and is also a saturday - so hopefully easier for peeps with work commitments etc. (the date is open to some discussion, but I am looking to sort this out by Monday night at the latest so at least a fixed date is set)

Andy_s sorry mate haven't been on just got back mobile after car crash.
GUTTED on hols on the 13th don't come back until the 24th .
