I'll be looking to start collecting deposits some time round the end of November but if anyone would like to get it out of the way sooner then I'm quite happy to start collecting them now. Just let me know and I'll give you the details.

After the experience of trying to collect deposits for the Medieval Banquet (I’m still missing a couple) I think it’s prudent that we start collecting the deposits for the Euphoria weekend as soon as possible. This will also give the people that would prefer to pay it before Christmas the chance to get it out of the way.
Please make sure I receive the deposit before 8th January at the latest. If I haven’t received it before 8th January then I’ll have to open up the room and give other people the chance to come along instead. We don't want to end up with any empty rooms do we?

hello all sorry to put a dampener on things but euphoria weekends are so not worth the money!! :cry: i wouldnt recommend them at all, the place is dirty, used condoms are left in the bins for god knows how long and the owners dont know if i should mention their names or not on here so i wont are the laziest oiks ive ever met in my life. we went expecting a relaxing weekend and came home a day early even though we had paid for the full weekend, thats how bad it was !!
i dont expect much but i do expect cleanliness and what it says on the tin - and dont think you get continental brekfast as advertised becuase you wont- the most youll get is a bit of toast at 3pm when the owners finally stir from their beds
oh and their teenage kids have free run of the place :shock: . NOT relaxing or nice or worth it at all

we have been on the swinging scene for 7 years and never been so dissapointed with anywhere
of course he would have been happy, men dont tend to notice dirt unless its pointed out to them - but theres no way im rolling around naked somewhere thats not clean! we have spoken to another couple that said there were pubic hairs in their bed
my advice would be go, but dont expect any food, take your own bedlinen and dont go down the playroom its just nasty!! and dont use the toilet located through the dungeon area urrrgh need i say more - oh and they dont do the buffet til about 10pm either not 8pm as described, so you think great we will only have to find our own luch, but you end up getting your own brekfast, lunch and dinner and then the buffet later is just a bit of a snack
bearing all this in mind and going prepared you will certainly have a better time than we did

The landlord was never still, he couldnt do enough for people. We spoke with the landord at length over the hotel and he informed us that they had only been there a few months and are in the middle of decorating but our room and the whole place was clean.
While we were there no one was in bed for 3am
and that includes the owners more like 7am and we didnt fancy brekkie just needed sleep lol.
Once again our room was clean no complaints about the bed linen, the decor was a bit old fashiond but work had started to improve this and we thought the playroom was good. At one point there was 8 cples playing in there :)
We also never saw any condoms lying around and there was a great crowd there when we went. We enjoyed the playroom, dancefloor, lounge, bar, blue movies and yes the buffet. We know its served about 10pm but the owners find that most people come downstairs about 9pm so after a hour relaxing meeting new swingers you're about ready to eat then hopefully the fun starts :)
One thing we do agree with is the downstairs toilet. Yes it's small and maybe in the wrong place but once again the owners infomed us that they have plans to turn the back half of the hotel into a sauna and jaccuzi. Sorry to hear you had a bad time but we didnt and are really looking forward to this party xxxxxxxxxx. hello again we went in august 2004
I consider myself normal,not posh in any way just a normal working mum and maybe im kim n aggies lost triplet, or too fussy, but if that was my place id be too ashamed to have visitors over....... im telling you the place was dirty! and not in the good swinging sense either lol
part of the trouble is they never run it as a normal hotel - and so dont have to worry about gaining stars or rosettes or having any standards at all in fact :lol:
a playroom in a damp unconverted grotty cellar is not my idea of fun....yeah if they had done it properly and converted it maybe but trying to cover the bare damp concrete and cobwebs with a bit of manky voile and some fairy lights just doesnt cut the mustard !
i do hope you all have fun anyway just remember not to arrive in the day so you dont see it in daylight :wink:

here is a report on Euphoria from us, who have been there 15 times in the last 5 months. Jun / Jul / Aug / Sept / Oct 2004. Probably more times than any one else has been, as they have only been open since February this year.
We've looked upon it as our 'local'. :shock:
Most of you know us from the chatroom and personally, and we think that you may appreciate what we have to say about the place.
Firstly, on the point raised about cleanliness.
We have been accomodated in about half of the rooms now, and have always found them to be clean, and hygenic. As for condoms in the bins, never seen anything like that.
Yes the hotel is in need of a good redecoration, but bear in mind, this venture has only been running for 8-9 months, and the work that went into getting it up and running was immense, and improvements are ongoing.
Alan and Lucy, i can mention their names, have never been lazy and will do whatever they can to make the stay as nice as possible for everyone.
We count them as freinds, and so may be somewhat biased, but we would not have continued our visits had the place not been of a certain standard.
We've never seen any one take breakfast, because they are all asleep, seeing as how the action doesnt stop until 5 or 6 am, and Alan and Lucy are there until it stops, so of course they sleep til early afternoon, i bloody would too!!
As for the facilities, the dungeon playroom is a bit tatty, but at least an effort has been made to make this space usable, and we have seen many a good session going on in there, and it was dirty too....very dirty at times, but the cellar wasn't.
The toilet facilities on the ground floor are, as Lucy and Alan will admit, inadequate, but bear in mind that all rooms are en-suite and therefore lend them selves to a more 'refined' atmosphere in which do ones ablutions. :P
As for all the other aspects, which have'nt been mentioned, such as the porn movies,(guys, check out the one where the blonde woman gets her pussy shaved), ahem! er sorry!
, 2 large screens, comfortable seating, a very reasonably priced bar, freindly and relaxed atmosphere, a bit of decent food, and playthings all over the place, we believe that Euphoria is good value for money, with the added benefit of your own private room to do with as you see fit.
Those of you who go to the weekend, will of course make your own minds up about it, as different peeps have different ideas about what they expect from a venue, but i hope that our appraisal, which comes from a good deal of experience, will be helpful.
We wont even be there, as we missed the boat on this one , but we are still willing to give our honest opinion of it.
