I'm thinking of holding a house party. Now, I know a few couples, guys and single women who might be interested in attending, but I'm also fully aware that a single bloke trying to organise a house party is likely to be viewed with a certain amount of suspicion in certain circles. So my question is: Can any of you good people give me a few ideas for making sure that anything I organise attracts a good mix of people, and is seen by others as the genuine venture that it is? I just want a good time to be had by all, and if successful I'd be looking to make it a regular fixture.
