Any clubs in the centre of dam that would be worth going too. Wife wants something very laid back with no pressure as not sure if she wants to join in yet. Have to make a start somewhere and would hate to have it ruined straight away.
All advice welcomed.

try the paradise club ,amsterdam north 6 area,great club,sauna,steam room,swimming pool,loads of playrooms,nice crowd,as far as i know,couples only sat night,buffet(nice buffet as well) included i think,bar,check website bt googlin it,hopr this helps, -paradise,nl

Most of the clubs are outside of Dam not in the centre but they can all be reached easily by taxi (approx 20/30 euro each way). There is Cafe Same Place in Dam but this is a mixed fetish club but you don't have to get changed and there's no pressure (looks a bit rough and ready but is great fun place. Other clubs outside Dam are Showboat, fun 4 Two (costly in cabs), Le Baron and Fatumogan, lovely clubs and again no pressure but lovely leisurely clubs to visit, very plush.
We have been advised against going to Paradise is it is usually crawling with men compared to how many women are in and not easy to get back to Dam as taxis are few and far between.

thinking of going in feb
i have been to paradise club and for me it was too full of single men who do not take no for an answer we were hastled all the time we were there and would not go back..however please make the effort and go to fun4two have been several times over the years and can honestly say it is the best 
went to cafe same place couple of years ago, was midweek and must have been too early as no-one came in there, left about 11. but barman was as friendly as you like, and chatty, even got us a couple of drinks. not too far to walk either, will probably try there again but go after 12.
The Sameplace doesn't really get going till after 12, at least not at weekends, we've never been during the week. It is our favourite Amsterdam club though.
We have been to the Paradise once and, while it is an excellent premises, it is the only club where we have actually had to run with another couple to get to a private room pursued by about 15 guys. Mrs northwest can be greedy with the guys but this was something else. Definitely not one for someone feeling their way into the scene.
The Showboat and Fata Morgana are both good, Fata is a scaled down version of Fun4two but cheaper and much closer to Dam.
