Welcome to the forums they are a friendly bunch on the whole and I'm sure the official welcome wagon will be along in to time to meet and greet. smile

No one said hello to me when I joined the forums however - but then again I didnt exactly introduce myself, I just kinda dived in....

I just had so much fun meeting folk from here that I don't want to miss it. Especially since, apparently, at least 6 couples that attended the NW munch are going down (ahem)

Definitely, munches rule! I would recommend anyone who can make it to do so - it was absolutely magic to meet so many people, especially through having virtually met them here first.
One thing that'll definitely be rather different from the NW munch - there, I still had change from a fiver after four pints.

we will be at the london munch
for sure we was so gutted missing the last london and the nw munch
steve_D arranged the next one around our hols so nothing will stop us cant wait to meet all you lovely ppl
we are already down but going down sounds like a fun option

OHHHHHHHHH a Berks cpl.
Have you tried the woods near the newt pond on Burghfield Common or the woods oppersate the hunt kennels, then there is the old Roman fourt site at Silchester and many more.
