Another Sussex Munch?

As I missed the last Sussex Munch by way of being stuck on the M25 and was told it was a lot of fun isn't it about time someone organised another! I don't mind where it is, but sure it's time for another! How about Arundel anyone? biggrin

You could always volunteer to organise it. I'm sure everyone down your way would be extremely grateful and all the other organisers can give you plenty of advice. Just think, you would be the centre of attention for the night with offers coming from every direction!!

Well lets make it in April then, gives everyone plenty of time to get ready for it! So lets say make it the weekend of the 23/24th April and hope that everyone can make it!

Having just started using the site, would love to attend a munch to meet peeps, and Arundel is very very near. Unfortunately won't be able to make this one, but if anyone wants to meet up at some other time (days are good), please drop me a line. lol

Hi Windsurfer - I'm going to make this a sticky and hopefully it will help you drum up some interest. However, if for any reason this isn't going to go ahead, ie no venue, you get arrested for being naked, no interest - that sort of thing, let me know and I'll unsticky it and allow it to die with dignity.

Having attended the Croydon Munch last week, which I enjoyed immensely , and discovering that other members on this site, are just like me Hopefully!!, I am up for attending another, especially as this would be local to me.
I don't know what help I could give, but I am willing to help you if required. I am fairly new to all this, and I am flexible on dates. I am willing to go along with any date selected. What was the possible areas you are thinking about? I am in east sussex.

Thanks Mal, it's well appreciated!! Hopefully will help drum up more interest! I'm working in Arundel tomorrow as it happens so will take the opportunity to take a look around.
If anyone knows any good venues please let me know. I was thinking of Arundel for those who weren't aware but hey if someone knows anywhere good then let me know.

Hi Windsurfer, I hadn't realised you were still around... good to "see" you! Good luck with your searching around Arundel - give me a call if you run out of ideas as I know a couple of places a few miles west of there that might be appropriate.

Arundel is not out of reach for us, but I`m unsure about finances at that point in the month. I won`t bore everyone, but suffice to say, overdrawn, bank charges, and money which gets swallowed as soon as it come in, really might make this an impossibilty! We really do want to come though, and will do our utmost!
I hope that a great many people show an interest, it will be our first, and we`d prefer to blend in the background.........this time! Hard to do if only a few people show! surprised

I don't think Windsurfer's set a date yet, partly as a location hasn't been selected yet, although perhaps that's not the most important thing... confused

A disco probably wouldn't be necessary as a munch is mostly about chatting and relaxing, although if you know of any places around that might have a disco going in one room but with another place that you could hear yourself think then that might be handy!! ;)
It'd be great to see you whenever, wherever!

Hi all!! My apologies to all yet again but my work has taken over completely, those that know me know I run my own company and right at the moment things are going exceptionally well which means several 16 hour days!!
It also means that I haven't had time to even look at a venue. So ANY HELP would be appreciated!! What we need is a definite venue, and a definite date. I wa trying to sort it, I really was!! Brain stroming requested!!

Well, we`ve never been to one either, what kind of venue would it be held in? Is it just a matter of meeting up in a pub for a pint and a giggle?Do we all wear carnations? If so I`d be happy to look up some good pubs. Nothing too quiet, but not so loud we can`t have a conversation.

Would the organiser of this much please get into contact with me. I'm trying to organise one in Portsmouth and someone suggested we combine the 2 as they aren't so far apart. Is that a good idea?
