They can ask - but do they get?
Well actually sometimes they do. Plenty of couples and singles are happy with a one-off encounter with a total stranger. It is horses for courses. Not all swingers want to socialise and become friends - they have friends and a social life of their own. They just want to include someone else from time to time in their sex lives.
So there is no harm in asking.
Afterall - think of the swingers who also go dogging.... there is no need for a social contact there.
