Bedfordshire Mini-Munch

Hi to those reading this! smile

I'm trying to arrange a Mini-Munch for the fine swinging folk of Bedfordshire. Of course Munch rules would apply so the plan would be just a social where us like-minded folk can make some new friends and connections.
If you live in Bedfordshire and would be interested in a purely social gathering - please leave a reply and we will see what we can sort out. Alternatively if you have any ideas or suggestions I would be glad to hear them!

Cheers Dammie, but I really want to get to know local people - I know they are out there lol!
As I'm new to the scene I think if I included everyone I would find it a little overwhelming to arrange etc.
Maybe if nobody wants to come I will just sit at the bar on me lonesome. biggrin

Well I know a few good venues - pubs mianly - where we could gather but I was testing the water really to see if anyone would be interested in my local area before I thought about the finer details. To be honest I've no problem with other 'select' people (and by slect I mean regulars from the forum) attending I just didn't want to be inundated with requests from 100's of single males who don't understand the term Munch.
Maybe I'm going about this all wrong? redface

Hiya

Not really a prolific muncher myself (for now) but if it's just meeting like minded people in your area to socialise your looking to do, why not arange a social instead of a munch, prehaps a night out to a nightclub or ten pin bowling or any other actvivties. :D

He is going to be soooo pleased when he sees this. lol

ok on to the technical stuff.
You may want to consider a "Bedford Social" as opposed to a munch.
A munch is a site sactioned event which is open to all site members (with the exception of total newbies)
For a social event you can limit it to who you want and it's a lot easier to organise than a munch. No need to think about secure segregated venue, DJ, badges etc.
As has been said above, I would read the link posted by Sarah and get yourself familiar with what a munch is before you find yourself organising something you didn't realise you were doing.

I think we can see what you're getting at - getting to meet up for a drink with a dozen like minded locals?
If you do a search for posts on The NW Posse who've done something similar up North, it might give you a few ideas to get you started.
I'm trying to think who I know lives in Beford, but for some reason I can only think of Markz :lol:
