Depends what sort of club you want.
Xtasia in West bromwich is a cool club, it has a night club atmosphere, has a fully licensed bar (drinks are good prices), and you dont have to undress down to pants/shorts.
Ideal for 1st timers who are a little nervous.

And has no private rooms, large open plan groups rooms and some playrooms you can't stand up in, but you can be guaranteed some fun as they do have girls who work there and are paid to look after people especially single guys

I was very nervous the first time i went, worried about so many things and none turned out to be a problem !
My nerves went as soon as i went into the club, the staff are friendly, most people there are too and it has a good atmosphere. It has open play rooms aswell as lockable ones, cinema, jacuzzis etc.

Also, there are paid girls at most clubs at some point but it is a good option, as is Chameleons :thumbup:
I would suggest going to any of the socials that are advertised at either club because they are very friendly and give you the option to watch or join in if you wish. There is no pressure in either venues to take part.
Personally i would think very carefully about going when theres a social on at a club if its your first time there....if i had gone on a social night when i first went then i would never have gone again....socials can sometimes be very scary for new people and sometimes can seem unfriendly, many people have told me they felt akward and left out at socials at clubs ! However for some people they are a good way to get to know others but make sure you think carefully about whats right for you
Socials can be a great way of getting to know about the scene and making new friends in an environment most should feel comfortable at them as at real socials no play takes place and they are held in vanilla environments like private function rooms at hotels. Personally I think socials at swingers clubs are the wrong way to go for the very reason stated above and because a lot of clubs are realising that having large groups of people socialising is spoiling the atmosphere of what is meant to be a place for people to play.
As for paid girls in clubs, I have no problem with prostitutes, escorts, lap dancers, strippers etc working at what they want to do, however, they fall into 3 main categories in the swinging scene ......
Girls working at clubs and paid to be there by the Club Owners
Girls working at clubs and paid to be there by a client and pretending to be a couple
Girls visiting clubs because no matter what thier employment is they enjoy the swinging lifestyle and go there only as swingers

Yes some socials can seem a bit cliquey, they vary. As someone who has hosted quite a few I have found the smaller ones less cliquey than the bigger ones oddly. That because the larger ones are larger as they are either regular or run by a well known member. The same people then put names down for those events over and over. People then leave the house and probably know who they are going to sit and chat with before they even arrive. Its not so much cliquey it just seems that way as people already know each other. Keep eyes open though, there are always at least a handful of newbies or not so well known people. We have never had any issue finding someone to annoy

Te social part was quite social and the play part was as it should be :lol: Wouldent have an issue going again. Though if it is your first time and you do want to ensure is 100% social then go to one outside a club

As I said "socials at vanilla venues like function rooms in pubs etc don't involve playing" I also said I didn't like socials held at swingers clubs because that is when they mix playing with the social event and that gets confusing, I have never attended a social at a swingers club though obviously having worked in clubs for many years I have been there when they have taken place, I have attended excellent vanilla based socials like the "Derby Social" and they have been very relaxed events, ideal for newbies and for everyone to get to know each other without any play taking place, the atmosphere then always seems so much more relaxed because no play is on the cards, albeit that many of those attending do go off to a club, hotel or home with someone after the social ends.
Working girls at clubs, Why did I bring it up, because it is relevant to some people who want to find a club to go to for the first time, some don't care, some think clubs are better because they are there and some will not go if working girls are paid to be there, each to thier own but if someone is asking about a club it is better that they know all the facts and make up thier own minds.

Absolutely agree and that is exactly what I said, when I said that many lap dancers, strippers, working girls, firemen, nurses and every other profession should be able to go to a club for a social time without thier choice of employment being a factor and many of them do, a lot of them are friends of mine
