Don't take this the wrong way but when I see posts like this it raises more questions than it answers so hopefully you'll take this as constructive criticism rather than a dig:
Who are you? This is your first post on the site. How about "Hi, I'm Daz, I'm ..........."
So the party isn't arranged then? You don't know who's coming or even what date it's gonna be on, you're just hoping for a response from here? Not much of a party if there's just you there.
Why can't you give more details to attract people's interest up front? Have you arranged this party? Do you know when/where it is? Do you know how many people are likely to come? Have you actually arranged anything or are you just chancing your arm?
