After chatting in the yorks chat room on server one, with regular members and getting positive feedback i'm arranging what us swingers call a "normal" night out for fri 28th novemeber. The night out will be initally meeting up btw 8pm to in a pub just outside rotherham town centre for one drink to get us altogether then going into rotherham town centre for a bit of a pub crawl (i know all the good pubs but it will be busy and lively) then later onto a nightclub for some dancing. The nightclub is very good it has 2 sides and plays a wide spectrum of music, its full of both young and old people so its a club where you never feel out of place. I know a gentleman who's 70 who goes and he's nearly always in the dance/trance side lol, this says it all. So if you like to boogie then this is it and its even better when your in a group. It shuts approximately 3am, but people are free to leave whenever they chose if you can't take the pace lol. I will be approaching the club in advance for some cheap tickets for entrance and arranging taxi mini buses from the first meeting pub into the town centre. Taxis are easy to get for return journeys back to hotels etc. This is the weekend all the work xmas parties start and it will be a good night. Last year playing lady organised one in doncaster for the yorks room and that was brilliant. This is a chance to let your hair down and strut ya john travoltas people good style, i love this club and i dance till the cows come home.......lets groove lol.
I ask of you one thing please only put your name(s) down if you are sure you can definitely attend on the night we are only a few weeks from the 28th, i dont want to have many no-shows which I know there always are as some cant be avoided when nights out/socials/munches are arranged. i have got tickets to collect and mini buses to organise and its all for your benefit to save you money so i dont want to have a drastic fall in numbers on the night. Plus with it being the party season i personally attend this club regular and use the taxi company ill be booking for this night most weekends, so they will be extremely annoyed at me for booking taxis that wont get used and likewise with the tickets. I dont want that to happen.
