Cambridge Beer Festival this week

Hi all
I know most of you are billions of miles away but if anyone fancies it I will be trying to get together a few for a pint of decent ale this Wednesday evening.
Fingers crossed the Fuzzy Duck Stunning Cunt will be on (I jest you not the beer list is on the website)

I will be there by , pm me for my mobile number for tracking down on the night.
I should also be there Friday night with the Fancy dress theme of Wenches

I will be posting this across all the sites I use in the hopes at least one person shows up (I can but live in hope).

Hurrah - that makes me plus one couple.
You will all be pleased to know I did a recce there tonight.
I can report back the following:
1. CAMRA members get fasttrack and free entry biggrin

Having said that the queue to get it was never large during my entry and exit tonight
2. The beer is superb. Particular highlights of tonight were Red Squirrel Prohibition Bitter 5% "Immense depth and flavour, dark brown, slight sweetness, good stuff!" and Cambridge Moonshine Orange Choc Stout 6.7% "WOW :D Perfectly balanced, superb kick, magic" Huge thanks to the couple in front of me who tasted this decided it was horrible and gave me the rest of their taster, it swayed me away from my original choice Milton Worts and all at 6.5%.
3. It got nippy on leaving tonight, it was pleasant inside the marquee but for any smokers and all on leaving it was very cold despite the warmth lunchtime.
4. Food there includes a hog roast or a Big willie a nine inch sausage (I give it a run for it's money though)
Roll up folks should be great on Wednesday. wink

Huge Huge thanks to Mr and Mrs Chilli112 for turning up and making it a cracking social.
Was good also to see the mystery couple who unexpectedly turned up and not only recognised me but were brave enough to say hello (made even more special by the fact I had been admiring said lady from far off). biggrin

Proof of how good a night I had:

Peterborough beer Festival will be the next Harry social and theres a free hotel share available to any couples or single females who are fast enough.

Cheers for a great night, I lost count how many I drank but hey I was pretty mullered by the timeI left!
It will be good to do Peterborough!
We will be there all week and may be able to do accomodation closer to the time! lol
