Club Raquels, London - Tues 24 April

I'm in London this coming Tuesday - 24th, and was thinking of trying out Club Raquels.
Never been, but it seems to get decent write ups on here...
Anyone going? Any thoughts about if Tues is a good day to go?

dont wast your money raquels is a dump and thay keep it in the family .... new good looking couples just walk out .... if your not in the famile your left out london not that good we go to chameleons.. call and ask for lin ..fir best night 830pm

Been to Chams many times, and no doubt that it's one of the best. Likewise Cupids and some of the other Manchester ones are always good fun.
But never found a good club in London and Raquels has been getting good reviews on here (average 4 out of 5), so I was thinking it might be worth a try. When did you go? Sounds like it's changed hands (for the better) over the past few months...
Anyone any better suggestions for a weekday evening in London? Failing that - I might stll check Raquels out....

Cheers.... still open I think (maybe it closed a while back and then re-opened?) but my expectations have been suitably lowered...
Anyone any better ideas for a Tueday evening in central London? NB - to any ladies or couples, this contitutes an *invitation* lol

I too will be in London tomorrow night.
I was thinking of visiting Sunset Cinema but wouldn't mind joining you at Raquels if you don't mind.

Thanks to all for replies - not sure if I will be going now to Raquels, as there's a possible "Plan B" emerging....
Will probably head down there sometime soon - next week or 3 - though, so would still be interested to hear how people find it...
