Had our first swinging experience a few weekends ago and, while the place we went to wasn't bad as such, we didnt feel particularly at ease as most/all the people there all seemed to be quite a bit older than us (we are late 20's/early 30's) - are there any good clubs people can recommend in the Midlands (Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield areas) where there is more of a younger crowd (though preferably not all single men!) where we might feel we fit in better and feel more at ease?
we are members of chameleons. And at 26 and 21 consider ourselves young. However like all clubs you don't know who will be there till you go!
i think most of the clubs have a fair mix. I've not been for a while, but xtasia used to attract a lot of younger people. But as the previous post, you won't know till the night. I'm 27 so in your 'young' section and find that i fit it at both chams and xtasia

I'm 36 now and I still feel young when I go to a club. I first went to a club in my 20s and I felt REALLY young LOL.
Chams has a good mix of people, though age range is always a bit hit and miss in clubs - but I have noticed quite a lot of people who look younger than me at Chams ... LOL
You're only as old as the woman you're feeling.
It makes me laugh when people get on their high horse about being called old.....
This is an adult website for people to be open about themselves....
I hate, overweight, fat, ugly (in my eyes) un-hygenic people and could probably mention more but i take it you get the point....
Its about personal preference,
Anyway...enough of that,..
I have been to a few clubs both as a single male and as a couple....
Yes it is hit and miss....
I have been sometimes and there have been really drop dead gorgeous couples in there other time full of people i wouldnt touch with a barge pole.....
Its just a case of go with no expectations, enjoy each others company and if you are attracted and feel comfortable with anyone else then be relaxed and let it take its own course....
Another option is to arrange to meet another couple off here at a club, then its a neutral relaxed environment.
Hope this helps a bit but i am sure you know this already.....

It is always best to have no expectations when you goto club, don't get into the mindset of 'If you don't play the evening has been a failure' because that will often lead to a feeling of disappointment.
All the larger and most popular clubs in the UK have a mixture of ages and of membership, we are a younger couple, but we have seen other younger couples at the clubs we goto on some nights and on others we are the youngest there. You can't really judge a crowd at a club from just one visit because while most will have a pool of regulars, there will normally be different people every time you go and always at least half a dozen new couples on any given night (One time when we went there was 30 new couples that night at one club)
Always worth considering.
we have been to chams and xtasia a fair few times and feel that the average age at xtasia is much lower than in chams. but it always depends on which night but we would recommend going on a party night to xtasia where you dont find mant people over 40. also we feel very young still x
