I know that try2 has had problems in the past in getting the final venue information to people because they have blocked "Single Male's" from messaging them. I have just noted that messages from people who are on your "friends" list do not get blocked, even if they fall into a "blocked" category. The answer might be to leave the relevant category "blocked" but to make sure that try2 is on your "friends" list so that information about this event will get through.
