What a great weekend.
Friday night meeting new friends, having a drink, meal and laugh at the casino. Even the cheesy singer was cool.
Saturday relaxing down the seafront in glorious warm sunshine, watching the footy, having an afternoon tipple with everyone. At one point we even inadvertently joined the UNISON march.
In the evening a great night drinking, dancing, playing naughty games (loved passing the ice cubes), eating a great spread (fnar fnar), and don't forget the vodka jellies! Think the bar staff had trouble keeping their eyes in their sockets.
All this was because of one person - Gorgeously
I've been to many socials over the years but this I think shades the infamous Bristol socials from 6+ years ago.
To those who knew me before - I'm sorry
To those who I met on Friday/Saturday - I'm REALLY sorry!
To those who didn't make it - Your loss was greater than you think!

even though ourselves and Redangel only stayed for a short while, due to the fact that it was a last minute thing, it was a good night. There were lots of lovely people and the games looked great fun.
You worked so hard and it is sad that some people didn't even let you know. If you arrange another we would love to come along again and hopefully this time we can stay a lot longer.

.my 1st ty has to go to frowningmango....ya made me cry by ya genorosity ..ya saved my birthday n will wuvv ya forever for that...........sorry i was such a sad cow today but hey if ya cant be emotional on ya birthday when can ya be!!!
2nd ..has to go to gorge.....fab night, fab venue (even if it did take me 6 hrs to get home n 4 bloody trains)

Threads are locked after an event has finished - a new thank you thread is normally stated in the cafe area. I thought one had been started and locked this one in error more than 24hrs later after the social has finished.
I have now merged both threads.
Had a bloody brilliant time, my first ever SH social and am thoroughly glad that i went.
Met lots of awesome people - too numerous to mention and made some great new friends. Music was great , barmen were gorgeous and ended up losing my stocings, cant get a better night out than that :happy::happy::happy:

I wanted to add our HUGE THANK YOU to the thread in the "Let's Meet Up" forum, but it's been locked... So, am posting here instead!
Gorge - you're an absolute star! We had an amazing time and will definitely be attending ALL of your future socials! Thanks for putting on such a great spread of food (I ate a bowl full of sweets for my dinner - lol!), organising an amazing DJ, the hilarious icebreaker games (I was soooo impressed that you knew everyone's site names!), and plying me with shots towards the end of the night!! ;-) I hope your head didn't hurt too much this morning!!! You totally passed out at the end of the night (you really did party till you dropped!!) ;-)
Massive thanks also to Frenchie for helping you out so much on the night, and for giving me a boob-jazzle of shooting stars!! You did such a great job and it was good to see that Gorge had helpers on the night, so that she could enjoy the night too! :-D
Finally, thank you to everyone who came and made it such a great night, especially the people who danced with me, and all the new people that we met (it's always great to meet the people I chat with so much in the Pool!). The atmosphere was brilliant! SH swingers certainly know how to party, baby!!

Glad it was such a success. We're still gutted (both that we missed the event and got charged for the bloody hotel room we never used) but what can you do? Little one was rough as closely followed by the rest of the household thus week. Soz gorge xx
Finally got round to posting on here. Great social, the best by a mile Gorge. Thank You, and great to finally meet all you naughty peeps. Some I met via the ice cubes lol, in fact I forgot how many people I snogged via the ice cubes. Oh and Tabbi, was great to finally meet you, albeit very briefly and had fun chatting with your little companions, especially the one with dark hair who joined in the ice cube sessions like a duck to water lol. Roll on the next party Gorge, though have a venue idea to put to you xxxx
