hi everyone.
sadely this post isnt a good one for me as its to let everyone know that i wont be able to make it to the social afterall.
i wont go into details, but trust me its not that i wasnt looking forward to it, just that some family things have happened that were unavoidable sadely.
i hope you all have a great time , im sure you all will.
im really sad to be missing this but i really cant get away or or be very good company if i could.
have fun, and well done to devon1 for all the hard work in organising this.
hopefully i wont be in the bad or banned books and will be able to come along to the next social.

Don't know if we will be able to make the afternoon meet, i have to work 'till 2pm, so we will have to get to the evening meet a bit early so as to have some Dutch Courage, or Dutch Grolsch or Belgian Stella!!
Do you have any idea how long you will be staying at the afternoon location?

Another newbie here, is this an invitation only event - I know it says all welcome on the first message but as I read more I got the feeling I might not be welcome.
Keep up the ace work, the southwest is an ideal point for me and I would love to have a drink and meet some new friends/introduce myself.

Sorry to say, the list for any other new folk wanting to attend the meet is now closed. I did post a message a week or so ago saying to get in touch before the deadline.
Hopefully we may be able to arrange another meet in the future biggrin

A newbie here! Just found out that I won't be able to see anyone on 13th Aug, as I'm too new to this. I hope to make friends in the Forums, so I'll be able to get an invite to the next get-togther in Plymouth.
If anyone needs any info on Hotels, B&B's or Taxis for 13th Aug, give me a shout. I'm sure I'll be able to point you in the right direction.

I have a little problem. (no, not that. That's a BIG problem :twisted smile

I have a double room booked at the hotel, but no-one to share it with :cry:
Are there any ladies out there who might want to share with me?
No pressure for anything to happen, just a bit of company after the munch (and it'll help with the finances too...lol )

Talking on a chatroom last night and saw the munch and venue being openly talked about.
Nice to see that one person at least can't keep his or her big mouth shut!
Don't know why I am surprised really, this is the self same thing that ruined dogging at Exeter.....
Anyway, it won't scare us off and we will see you all there on Saturday!!

The chatroom was on another site (Local Swingers) the ID they were using is just throwaway....there was no way of knowing just who they were on the guest list except that they were on Local Swingers as a Single Male.
Got my suspicions of who it is but that's another story, won't stop us from coming on Saturday anyway.....

Right folks.........this is the next-to-last time I'll be online before the Munch.
Got the car packed.
Sandwiches made for the journey and in the fridge overnight
Can anyone tell me if I've forgotten anything?
shoes......brown and black depending what I decide to wear for the munch
suit..........in case I feel like "dressing to impress"
toilet bag....with razor and toothpaste etc
3 pairs of Jeans and 4 tee-shirts in case I feel like "dressing down"
4 pair of socks ...cos my feet smell......lol
A pair of boxers for the hotel in case they have a fire or something ..(always go commando and sleep naked otherwise.......lol)
camera and "studio kit" ... just in case anyone wants any pics doing while I'm down that end of the country
Phone chargers...just in case I get to use the mobile a lot if any daft person wants my number......lol
Half a pack of beer ....... for a few drinks at the hotel
Bank card and cheque book cos I have a feeling it's gonna be a bloody expensive weekend.......lol
And last but not least........my "infamous" red shorts.............as worn at most munches I have ever been to......and have also been called a "munch necessity" for me.......lol
I've filled the car up with fuel and checked the oil and water etc. I've printed maps and directions to Cornwall (where I'm staying tomorrow night) and have all my phone numbers etc in my phone.
Is there anything else I've forgotten??
There usually is, and I usually realise about 50 miles from home........lol
