Devon / Cornwall, Social Pub Munch Aug.13th in Plymouth

This a new thread for the pub meet In Plymouth on Saturday August 13th biggrin

The pub is in a popular area, and has a good mix of people and dress code. So if your 18 or 80, wear jeans, or clubwear, you'll fit in fine :D
A travel lodge is about 5-10 mins walk away, and there are hotels and B&B's in the area, if you want to stay. A car park is close to the pub as well.
If you have already PM'd me from the previous thread, don't worry your on the list. This is just a new thread to get stickied for the meet. If you would like to come, and haven't contacted me, PM me, and i will add you to my list.
Any questions / thoughts, ask away :D
The meet is in a normal pub, and i will let you know nearer the time, where to go, and how we can recognise each other.
We have a good mix of people wanting to come, and I'm looking forward to meeting folks from the site :D

hi everyone, ive been of line for a few days, its great news to see this has all been pulled together, big thank you to devon1, and reading between the lines the help the mods have been towards devon1.

im going to take a gander to see what the hotels near by are like and see if they have any spaces, (online that is )

I have a son living in Plymouth and also voted for Plymouth on the poll that was up,
I go down to see him about once every 2 months and could possibly tie this in with the 13th August if I'd be allowed to attend. I also know a fantastic little B+B VERY near to the train station and local cab office if anyone who is attending would like details. (needless to say I would ask Devon1 if the person who is asking is actually on the list to attend before I give any details out)
Stick me down as a provisional please and I'll be able to let you know withing the next 2 weeks for definite.

hi Devon, ive just found out im sailing on the 5th of aug for 1 month. Bit of a bummer but let us know when the next meet is, if there is giong to be one, and i'll be a definate.

i know this isnt a "munch" but i presume that simmiler rules would apply.
for example ONLY those who are members of this site can attend, i know it has not got its own private function room, and so in all intents and purposes its open to any one, but i hope only those who are membres here will be given the location and are trusted to keep it to themselves, and not to be bringing along non members????

Have I missed something regarding age range of folk wanting to attend this social?
Do we know or even need to know the ages of those attending (obviously as long as over 18)? confused

hey devon1,wud have loved to have attended this 1 but unfortuantly will be half way across the world visiting my kids but if another meet/munch is organized could you keep me informed as i would love to attend and meet all you other ppeps,hope you all have a good night and sorry i cant be there banghead

just realised what a bitch life is, lol to book into a great hotel for the sunday night would cost Â£26. on the saturday its Â£60.
anyone want to go halfs on a big room??? lol
