Hi everyone.
I stumbled upon this website a few months ago and it seems fantastic, full of friendly people all with similar ideologies, looking to have some fun. However I never get a reply when responding to adverts.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
I am polite, curtious, non pushy and only reply to adverts with which I seem to meet the determined criteria.
All I am looking to do has have a little fun with likeminded people, I am very open minded and would love to try some new experiences.
The one drawback I seem to have is that I am a single guy, do any single guys ever get a responce?
Any advice on what I can do to get a responce in future would be fantastic.

Yes, single guys do get responses from this site. I've met several guys from the forum and the photo ads. There's plenty of advice available on the site for single guys - read it. The upshot is, this is a swingers site, not one that grants you free sex whenever you wish it to happen. You get out of it what you put in. Swinging is a lifestyle, on sites like this people are looking to make friends as well as finding sex partners. Of course, there are plenty of people just looking for action (me included... tonight preferably 
), but as swinging is so diverse, and as there are many single guys, you have to be patient. Get yourself known on the forum - a sum total of two posts does not make me feel that you have tried very hard.

So the general advice is be more active and get posting on the forum
I never for one minute thought the website would provide an invitation for 'free sex' and can see exactly where you both are coming from.
Anyway I'll take the advice on board and get posting more often.

Some adverts on this website amaze me, a lot of the blokes who post on this website seem to confuse real life with porn films and think women like being called all names under the sun.
One thing I have noticed Mr Writer is some of the adverts seem to be a hoax, I have stumbeld across a number of pictures on various websites that I am sure I recognise from this. Think some people get kicks out of copying pictures from the web and posting fake adds.
Think the more grainy and rubbish looking the picture the more authentic the advert.

But that's not to say that I wouldn't appreciate a simple "Thanks, but no thanks" from a couple or a female who aren't interested in my reply. I can understand that ads from single women/couples/anyone advertising for males is going to be swamped with replies, but I also think it's obvious that I put a lot of effort into what I write and I'd like that to be reciprocated.
But that's not to say that I wouldn't appreciate a simple "Thanks, but no thanks" from a couple or a female who aren't interested in my reply. I can understand that ads from single women/couples/anyone advertising for males is going to be swamped with replies, but I also think it's obvious that I put a lot of effort into what I write and I'd like that to be reciprocated.

I'd guess it's because your replies are witty, charming and well thought-out? 16-17% response rate sounds really good to me! My stats look like this:
Ads replied to: 129 (in 397 days)
Responses to my replies: 8
Response rate: 6%
(Those weren't all on swinging-heaven, so it's probably not a fair comparison, but there you have it.) Comparatively, I feel I've had more fulfillment from people who've contacted me through my own ad than people whom I've tried to contact through theirs - although how these people found my ad amongst the thousands of other single guy ads is anyone's guess.
But it sounds like whatever you're doing, Mr Writer, you're doing it very successfully. Well done.
P.S. Anyone who wants to make fun of me for keeping such detailed records, now's your chance. Come on, do your worst! ;) :twisted: :smug:

Now you're talking about good manners James - hard to regulate and harder to instil into people. You deserve more.

If that EVER happens then please use the 'report this ad' link and send us the news - we will deal with as swiftly as real life allows. We ban them.
