Unfortunately we have no DJ at this moment for the Bolton Munch. Backup is a stereo in the room, but I know this is not the same for those that like to boogie away.
If anyone is able to DJ for us this night, that would be great, please post on here, or contact myself or gingerjo-lee.

Just a thought - have you checked (and you probably have 
) if the function room has it's own P.A system you could use?
Then, if you already have your cd's that you were going to play anyway, all you would need is either a pro-type cd player (one with a red and a white jack at the back) - or you can even use a personal stereo cd player, with a headphone to jacks - adapter (I've got one I can send you) and Bob's your uncle!

Or, and I have suggested it a while back, an iPod on shuffle play (with an appropriate lead that I happen to have here
If that's what is wanted please let me know so I can dump my usual music and reload it with pop etc.

No probs, if you hifi has RCA phono inputs then it's no problem.
I'll load the thing up on dance-type stuff and I'll make sure it's fully charged :)

I run karaoke n disco too... but draggin all that equipment up there would be a huge fuel cost to us 'entertainers'
