where is the download festival what area please

Rock Festival held in Donnington Park between Derby and Nottingham between 10th and 12th June. Headliners are Black Sabbath, System of a Down and Feeder.
Now 2 threads are going on the same topic by same originator so can one be locked?

We have tickets and were also thinking it would be good to meet up with some likeminded people for some fun. The campsite opens on the wednesday but as there are no bands on until the friday we need to create our own entertainment for two days and nights lol

I can't make it to Download, and I'm not really a into festivals anyway.
I would recommend going to see Anthrax at Download, I saw them on Thursday night and they rocked.

22 single male here, it's going to be might boring the first 2 days so i think we need to make the most of the free time. LOL

If this is a Festival of Download music - Do you have to take your own computer? And will power be laid on, or is it only good for laptops?
I've got a couple of inverters if anyone needs to run mains from their car.

If not Download is a festival held at Donnington Park. It used to be a one day fesitival, then known as The Monsters Of Rock but in recent years has been extended to two days, then this year a whole three days - and renamed download (maybe they know us hippy types are too tight to pay for albums when we can download them for free rolleyes

).
And there is only two and a half weeks to go

Been the last two years and it's brill!!!!
My boy going on his own for first time this year :shock:
All still making it for Carling Festival though - fingers crossed the touts aren't greedy, pretty reasonable prices last year!
Enjoy Download and watch out fer my boy!!!!
