So let me get this straight, you start a post quite aggressively titled FUCK ABOUT, then moan that you offered it on a plate and you get absolutely no genuine replies.....
Then, after christ-knows-how-many genuine people say they HAVE replied, you find your way to the truth - you got hundreds of very genuine replies, but you couldn't be arsed to even send a polite 'no thank you' to any of them.
Perhaps your next post should read: 'I'm extremely fussy and despite many genuine replies I haven't actually found anyone I'm interested in', rather than making all the essex members look uninterested? I don't think you'll find it's OUR fault you haven't met up with anyone........

Firstly "fuck about" is an essex saying! dont you watch big brother??.it is in no way aggressive,its called humour lol .and just because we didn't reply to a handfull of the "pushy types", that keep sending pm after pm every other day doesn't mean we are not replying to the "not so pushy" have had a couple of very nice meets from s/h,so stop wasting our time when it could be spent replying to our ads. :lol: .

And regardless of whether Fuck About is an Essex saying and not aggressive (hmm lived here all my life and never heard it before!? Also didn't think there were any Essex people in the house but I don't lay claim to being much of a BB boffin so apologies if I'm wrong!) the whole tone of your thread WAS very aggressive, and basically put us Essex lads down for no good reason.

Its people like you that give genuine people a bad name on this site. I can't say if these people are pushy or not. But you it would seem have been giving out the wrong signals. Be more specific with your ads and you wouldn't have this problem. Because of that your making your selves look like time wasters and messers.

One thing though, "fuck about" essex slang? Since when? I'm a born n bread essex lad, heard all the slang a million times over but fuck about isn't slang for anything. I'd say fuck about is used in the term "stop fucking about with me" as in pissing them about or headfucking them. Just because someone on big brother said it don't mean nout, did that whole chicken thing stick for long? Was it known as liverpool slang?

Fair point, but that's not what this argument is about. None of us are complaining that she didn't reply - of course that's absolutely her right and that's got nothing to do with us. What we're unhappy about is that she came on here basically saying that us Essex boys weren't up for doing anything, perhaps also inadvertently suggesting that those of us who DID reply weren't genuine.

Her post was intended to furiate some of you so that they would get all the pm's. Increasing their chances of getting, not someone genuine as they said but, someone more to their liking. Just chill, don't get upset over a stupid little post on a board intended for essex blokes attention within putting them down. What would be the best way to get an essex lads attention? Or lads from liverpool? Just start a thread saying that men living in that area are short lasted, crap in the sac etc etc because they are bound to reply to it.
