hi due to popular demand i am organising a gloucester munch for october (date to be finalised) i have read all the rules and abide by them it is just a swinging heaven only munch let me make that clear
anyway i need to know numbers so i can find a suitable venue please let me know

I will write basically the same thing I wrote in the notts social thread
it certainly would help if you could draw a line and say "this is the date" because for those people not so local.. the longer you dither, the harder it will be to get hotel rooms close to the venue and the more those hotel rooms will cost and the more travel costs may rise,
this is why things like munches are normally arranged on longer than a few weeks notice....they are not just local events, you also have to consider those who will make the effort from all over the country to get there....
that is why the other munches are organised months in advance... glasgow, manchester, wigan.....
Organising a Munch is a huge undertaking... I have done it, it can be stressful and hard work....trust me!!!!!

As you are aware of what a Munch is,then you will understand why I have changed the title of this thread to a social. You have yet to book a venue or set a date, therefore it is more likely that you are organising a social rather than a Munch. Once you have both a venue booked in accordance with the Munch rules and a date set, then you can call it a munch. Until then it will be known as a Social.

would be interested but work shifts, i guess others have other family restrictions which need sorting so would be nice to have a date to put in the diary and work around. don't give up, notoriously hard arranging a gloucester gathering.
