Excellent, brilliant, fantastic.
I have just found out that I am going to the beer festival on 2 different occasions.
The first is with the wonderful people from this thread. I'm not sure what day this fine occasion is meant to happen on.
The second is with my workmates on the 27th, which is the day before my birthday.
I wasn't meant to go with my workmates as I was sure to be skint by that time in the month, as I told Steve. The next day, he had an idea :idea: : he offered me the chance to earn the money required, by giving him some guitar lessons at Â£25/hour. Sorted... :!:
Now I can't wait evn more than before. biggrin

Speak as you find and all that............... but could I respectfully just make a suggestion?
Reading the thread, I see a lot of sexual inuendoes being posted, maybe this is putting people off?............the event is titled Norwich Social Drinking.. after all. I noticed that when the norwich book club got going the posts where purely social................ just a thought
As it happens, H and I are very much of the mind that we will do what we want to do, when we want to do it, so the tone of the thread doesn't bother us, but maybe it is putting some people off?

Well said. Sorry to be boring everyone but at the venue where we are going, whilst eveyone will be chatting, drinking, possibly dancing (but only as in the words of Benny Hill "So you stand eight feet apart and do the twist oh lore" (come on then flapjackboy you seem to know every song in the land :lol: )) and having a very good night, it is a respectable sort of venue, and there will certainly not be any of that sort of thing going on in the venue.
The whole idea of this as my first post said is for a chat and a pint of two, of course if anyone wishes to do else at a later date in a convenient location that is down to them.
