Well the big day has finally arrived folks.
The big East Anglian event takes place tonight I'm just supping a pint of Theakston's Old Peculier as final practice, I have no idea how I will get to work by 7am :cry: I'll try not to fall asleep on you all tonight through lack of sleep.
A big thank you to NorfolkBBW for her encouragement and co-assistance, thanks to all of you who have posted to keep the momentum of my thread (I never dreamed of getting to Eight pages, 2112 views and 157 posts), the mods who helped me in getting the thread right to start with, and of course all you good folk who are coming to ensure a good night will be had even if Milton Mammon isn't on.

The Report
I must start of course by thanking the eight good folk who joined me in Norwich last night to make it the success it was.
My sincere apologies for not getting back to the pub quick enough after the festival visit to properly say goodbye and thank those of you who stayed in the pub for coming last night.
I arrived in true Harry style five minutes late, which I blamed on dinner taking over 20 minutes to be cooked (I think they had gone to Lowestoft to catch the piece of fish), and had to wolf it down in five minutes, though I took the opportunity of finding that place where two of you dined last night this morning for future reference.
Through recognition of my top and subtle text messaging, we all swiftlly joined together and took over the back part of our chosen watering hole (thanks to those who suggested it), where over a medley of assorted drinks, everyone relaxed and were all happily chatting away.
Later on half the group joined me at the beer festival where I lasted no more than thirty seconds before being pounced upon by a fellow dogger who joined us. Alas the strongest mind blowing beer was not on, but my fav Milton Mammon was but that was not what it was being called by the end of the evening. A half of newt and a half of Mammon later (though I am led to believe that one of our group downed most of my Mammon whilst I went to the lavatory, unlike last year my mum didn't ring me whilst I was stood at the urinals (never seen so many blokes laughing their heads off when I answered :!: )) and with my half of Tally Ho in hand it was off to the food area to sober up, before back to the pub for a pint of lemonade and lime (I jest you not, I was trying to reduce this mornings hangover)
The biggest laugh was on me today though, having been given a lift back as far as A14/A142 junction as requested (Thanks for the lift, much appreciated) I shopped at Netto's (3.5 litres of soft drink and tinned food etc to add to my already weighty ruck sack) thinking I could get a bus back. Stood at the bus stop outside the bus I wanted didn't stop it being an express service so only selected bus stops. Undeterred I strode up the road to try and find a selected bus stop. 1 hour 47 minutes (or six miles later) I got on the bus. At this stage I was as pissed off with the bus as some of our group were just plain pissed last night (I won't mention any names I'm far too polite)
Final thanks of course goto my co-partner in crime NorfolkBBW for getting this organised and being a part of it (Who wants to go drinking with single male :lol: )
I feel like I have missed something out. Oh yes I have, but I couldn't mention that in public could I :lol: :shock:

Seriously, thanks for a really great evening, and it was nice to spend some time with some really lovely people, we had a lot of fun and wouldn't have missed any part of last night for the world !

I have just discovered to my horror that that bus picks up at Tesco's which was 100 yards from the bus stop I first stood at.

Sorry I was unable to come. As I PM'd Harry, there was a big crowd of my colleagues going last night and I had declined to join them. Then I overheard that they were meeting in the same pub so that would have been really awkward.
But I'm glad we're getting better at actually meeting up round here. It's very promising. Also lots of new hotels springing up all over the place. Hint hint...

I can only add to whats already been said its was a truly great evening. my first on meet people that i could become friends with (him & her) was a bonus indeed. Lovely people.
