Hi all,
I am new to this and I would love attend one of those parties. I am 25 years old guy, working as a IT cosuntalt, very genuine and freindly, I dont even know in where to start, as I read this posts I understand that it is very hard to be invited/attend parties if you are a single male. I would love to gain anyone trust in any way and be invited (one day) I believe I can contribute in my own special way, not to mention me bringing lots of drinks ;)
I know, I may look strange to you all, but I fully understand it, and therefore even advices in where to start would be appreciated, will posting a picture would help?

Seems to me you made a pretty fair start with this post, but if you want to introduce yourself the cafe's the place to do it most effectivly.
What do you mean by "one of those parties"? There's lots of stuff goes on here, publicly in the forums and also privately behind the scenes. Do you mean a Munch, private party, or what?

Go and say hi in the cafe. That really is the best place to start. The rest will follow if you just ease yourself in to some threads gently. I'm sure you'll be made to feel welcome.

ES is right, the best way to start is to let people get to know you on here. Also would be good for you to get to know others too. That way, if you did get to go to a party, then you won't feel like a total stranger with people that all know each other (either in real life or via the forums) etc, which can be daunting in itself.
You can also sus out what sort of party you would feel most comfortable with, there's a huge range, from the purely social munch, to the parties that are rather full on, to say the least!
So get some posting boots - take a look around the Cafe, stick your opinion in wherever you've got something to say .... and enjoy getting to know others
