Help - Is there a South West/Midlands Munch?
Maybe we should start one up ! It does seem that many of the active people on the forum live either in the North West or the South East, but maybe if we try we could get something going.
I would certainly be interested in a laid back social gathering for people in this part of the country. Is there anyone else who might express an interest ?

This sound like a good Idea.
I'm based in the South Wales area, and it seems most locations and meets are in the Bristol area or to the SE of this area (except Southhampton, apparantly), but it would be good to meet up for informal social meets etc... I am a newbie myself, and really still feeling my way around this site. I know that Im not one of these "MBB Brigade types" who are giving the single guy a bad reputation, and would be happy to contact or PM other people who have answered this query and send phots and contact details etc.. as I'm genuinly interested that there are others in the Gwent/Worc/Hereford/Glouc areas with the same interests and same respect for the couples and the actual secrecy of and respect for locations.

I'm really looking for a way into this activty with like-minded professionals and respectful people and as a means of being "educated" in protocol. I for one would be happy for people to meet at my place or whatever, if acquainted, or just share ideas in forums such as this one.
It's nice to know there are other inexpereinced but respectful people looking to get involved in the scene in an appropriate maneer.

It was my wife, Dawn_Mids who organised the first midlands munch.
Why isnt there another one?
Cos there is a munch almost every weekend
Cos they take hours and hours to organise
Cos maybe she hopes someone else does the next one
So if you are planning a Midlands Munch (yes I do know about the Notts Munch) then please let us know!.

Just a just message to confirm what Marmalaid has just mentioned, that a south-West meet is due to take place some-time in Sept., and it seems to be in the Bristol-Somerset area. I think the person organising this is getting a list together of interested people, and I think they are looking to either the first or second sat. of Sept, (6th or 11th Sept).
I'm hoping that this could be a start of something more regular for SH members in the SW/S Wales area, but only time will tell.
I hope that is not too far away for you and Dawn to travel...Ian-mids?

It isn't the distance that precludes us from any of the munches. Firstly its the babysitting, and secondly its the cost of the hotel bills.
The first weekend in September will find us in London at the Sex maniac's Ball (night of the senses). That will actually be our third consecutive weekend of sitters and hotel bill etc.
And as its the mother in law who does the sitting, I just aint that brave to ask for four weeks straight through.
