No hard evidence that would stand up in a court of law or anything, but when I replied, he said his partner was shy and wanted to watch me wank. When I said I would at least like to see her first, there was no reply. I have had some experience with camming, and that seemed a bit suspicious to me. And all his previous posts were as a single guy. If I'm wrong, then of course I apologise.

No, that's fine. As long as you have an inkling of something being amiss. Be aware also that others may come back and say they have cammed with both, then it's just down to being unlucky on that occasion. We have to take folk on face value until proven otherwise.
